DD Tarp 4 x 4 m
The DD Tarp 4 x 4 m is a waterproof tarp offering 16 square metres of covered space for hammock camping, group shelters and outdoor living. Its large size provides ample protection for one or more hammocks as well as communal camp areas.
The tarp is made from 190T polyester with a 3000 mm PU waterproof coating and a taped central seam. According to the manufacturer, it is fully waterproof, while the UV50+ rated fabric blocks approximately 98% of UVA and UVB radiation.
Using the DD Tarp 4 x 4 m
The tarp features 19 reinforced attachment points positioned around the perimeter and along the ridgeline. This allows a wide variety of pitching options, including A-frame shelters, lean-tos, diamond shelters and open canopies.
The 4 × 4 metre size makes it suitable for covering several hammocks or creating a communal shelter for cooking, resting or working around camp. It is equally suited to backpacking, canoe trips, bushcraft camps and scouting activities.
Materials
The 190T polyester fabric dries quickly and stretches less than nylon when wet. The taped centre seam improves waterproof performance, while the reinforced attachment points are designed to withstand repeated tension during normal outdoor use.
