DD Jungle SuperLight Hammock – Modular Hammock
The DD Jungle Hammock is modular. Different components can be attached as needed, such as the mosquito net or rain cover. This allows you to take only the parts you need for your trip.
The hammock features a double-layer base, allowing a sleeping pad to be placed between the fabric layers. This helps keep the pad in position throughout the night.
To get the most out of all the hammock’s features, we recommend familiarising yourself with it before your first trip. Once you understand how the different components work, setting up the Jungle Hammock is quick and straightforward.
The Jungle Hammock consists of three parts:
- A hammock with lightweight Whoopie Sling suspension.
- A fully removable mosquito net.
- A waterproof cover.
The semi-circular poles keep the mosquito net away from the user and create a more spacious feel at both ends of the hammock.
Additional Information About the Waterproof Cover
The waterproof cover can be used underneath the hammock, allowing it to function as a bivy-style ground cover on damp ground. When attached above the hammock, it can be used as an emergency tarp when needed. The waterproof cover can be installed either underneath or above the hammock depending on the situation.
