Ecofume Pack Liner Bag Gramjakt – Backpack liner bag

The Ecofume Pack Liner Bag is one of the lightest waterproof backpack liners on the market. Designed especially for long hikes, these bags are very popular in the USA. The bags are also ideal for the varied conditions in Finland. Although not fully submersible, they keep your gear dry on backpacking trips.

Closing the bag

The mouth of the bag is often closed by twisting and folding, which is usually enough to keep your gear dry. In some cases, the mouth can also be secured with a rubber band or a small bag sealer. The mouth of the bag can also be tied closed if necessary.

European “Nylofume” bag

Gramjakt’s aim was to develop its own version of the Nylofume bag, made in Sweden and more environmentally friendly than the traditional polyamide version. After many test pieces, they succeeded in creating a bag that resembles the popular Nylofume bag in shape and function.

Normal rubbish bag or Ecofume?

Of course, you can use normal rubbish bags or commercial plastic bags. However, regular bags are not very durable or suitable for use inside a rucksack.
