Seam Grip FC by Gear Aid is an easy-to-use, fast-drying water-based seam sealer designed for waterproofing tent seams and outdoor shelters. Formerly known as Seam Sure, Seam Grip FC provides long-lasting, flexible, and reliable seam sealing for year-round tents and canopies.
The 60 ml bottle is enough to seal up to 30 meters of seams, making it an efficient solution for tent maintenance, tarp waterproofing, and shelter repairs. Once cured, the sealant dries clear and forms a durable, flexible, waterproof barrier that resists cracking and peeling.

How to Use Seam Grip FC
- Shake the bottle briefly before use.
- Loosen the cap with the integrated brush applicator.
- Apply a thin, even layer to the inside seams of the tent or fabric.
- Allow seams to dry until the sealant turns clear and flexible.
- Drying time is approximately 2 hours, depending on conditions.
Reusability & Storage
- Seam Grip FC is not a single-use product.
- Clean the brush applicator and bottle neck after each use with like warm water.
- Close the cap tightly to prevent the sealant from drying out.
- Store in a cool, dry place and do not allow the product to freeze.
If the sealant becomes thick, lumpy, or no longer dries clear and flexible, it should be replaced.
