VectoX Water Container (Thicker) 42 mm BeFree-compatible CNOC

The CNOC Outdoors VectoX water container with 42 mm threads is similar to the standard Vecto 42 mm but made from a thicker and more durable material. This version is also resistant to boiling water. The VectoX 42 mm is a soft, compact, and collapsible water bag that can be used to carry clean water or as part of a water filtration system with BeFree water filters. Make sure to check your filter’s thread size compatibility.

NOTE: TPU is a porous material and may retain some odor from the manufacturing process. Clean and air out the water container thoroughly before first use.

Anyone who has used water containers with small openings knows how frustrating they can be to fill. We wanted to design a product that is functional and easy to use – the result is the Vecto series of water containers.
About the Material:

The material is food-grade TPU that is BPA-, BPS-, and BPF-free. TPU is a thermoplastic elastomer combining the properties of rubber and plastic. It is extremely durable while remaining soft and flexible. The tensile strength of the water container is nearly 100 kg. The TPU material is FDA-approved.

Since this is a plastic product, it may impart a slight plastic taste to the water. Some people are sensitive even to mild changes in taste and smell, so this is something to be aware of. Thorough cleaning can reduce this effect. Washing before use and regularly during trips will minimize taste issues.

If the taste is significant or the bag becomes dirty, we recommend using cleaning tablets such as Corega. Fill the bag with warm water, add one Corega tablet, and let it sit overnight. Rinse the next day with hot water and dish soap.

CNOC TPU products may change color over time because they do not contain BPA, BPS, or BPF – chemicals that keep plastics clear. Exposure to a combination of UV light and water chemicals may cause the material to turn yellow, green, or even orange. This discoloration is not a defect but a natural characteristic, and the product remains safe to use.
