Trekking Coffee Tanzania 3 dl / 2 Cups Grower Cup
The Mwankumbi cooperative was founded among friends in the village of Ihombe. It has flourished since 2016, growing from 44 to 161 dedicated small farmers. The farmers skillfully process fully washed beans at home, after which their quality is assessed at collection stations. Initially, production was a modest 15 tons per year. By 2021, production had reached 94 tons. The cooperative members have organized every stage from milling to sales with a communal spirit and care.

Coffee Preparation
The coffee is prepared by pouring 3 dl of boiling water (95°C) into the bag – let it brew for 2-4 minutes. The fats, aromas, and flavors of the coffee are excellently preserved in this bag. Pour the coffee from the bag into a cup; no separate filter or pot is needed.

Reusable Bag
Grower Coffee is packed in PE-coated paper bags with a clever built-in filter. With these Grower Coffee trekking coffees, you can enjoy high-quality organic coffee anywhere; you only need hot water and a cup. These mostly paper bags can be reused. Clean the coffee filter with warm water and a small amount of soap, and let it dry with the opening facing down. Once the bag is dry, you can refill the filter with coffee and use it again. The brewing bag is made of eco-friendly paper; after use, you can dispose of it like other food packaging.
