Bluenote Alcohol stove / burner Evernew
The Bluenote Alcohol Stove is made of aluminium. Bluenote is very lightweight, weighing only 13.5 grams. 330 ml of water boils in about 5 minutes. With a diameter of 4.5 cm and a height of 3.2 cm, it is very small and compact.
Aluminium is a great material and has good thermal conductivity, it conducts heat better than steel or titanium. In an aluminium burner, the burning alcohol heats the whole cooker evenly. So aluminium was the clear choice for the Bluenote alcohol burner.
Bluenote is the result of a long design process and all its shapes are carefully considered and have their own function. The design allows it to be used with a windscreen The exquisite design allows it to be used with a pre-heating plate, sold separately. The preheating plate and the boiler shown in the pictures are not included.
The Bluenote alcohol burner has a concave base, which gives the burner many advantages. The concave base directs the alcohol to the edges, allowing the burner to burn a little longer and more evenly. The burner stands more firmly on gravel or rock.
The edge of the Bluenote is flared so that the flame burns steadily when you place a cup over it. There is enough distance between the combustion holes and the bottom of the cup to achieve a perfect flame.
How quickly does the water boil?
The capacity of the alcohol burner is 15 ml, do not overfill. The Bluenote alcohol burner can boil 3.3 dl of water in 5 minutes (one refill).
The Bluenote alcohol burner itself weighs only 13 g. The preheating tray sold separately weighs 7 g, so together with its preheating plate 20 g
Note! The kettle cannot be placed on a side burner type alcohol stove until the flame blows out through the combustion holes in the side of the main body.
