Description
Kids Hammock with Mosquito Net Junior Frontline DD Hammocks
The Junior Frontline is a hammock designed specifically for children, based on DD Hammocks’ popular Frontline model. It offers the same key features as the adult version, but in a smaller size suitable for children up to approximately 120 cm tall.
The integrated mosquito net provides protection from mosquitoes, midges, and other insects. Lightweight spreader poles create a spacious interior, preventing the net from resting against the user’s face. When insects are not a concern, the net can be rolled away or the hammock can be flipped over for open use.
The double-layer base improves comfort in warm weather and allows a sleeping pad to be inserted between the layers in cooler conditions. This helps keep the pad in place throughout the night.
The Junior Frontline comes ready to use with suspension straps, spreader poles, and elastic cords included. Four internal storage pockets provide space for headlamps, gloves, toys, or other small essentials.
The hammock is not waterproof, so a separate tarp is recommended for wet weather use.

Our Thoughts
A children’s hammock is more than just a smaller version of an adult model. It needs to be easy to use, safe, and comfortable enough to make those first nights outdoors a positive experience.
The strength of the Junior Frontline is that it uses the same proven design as DD’s well-known Frontline hammock. The integrated mosquito net, double-layer base, and included suspension system make it a genuine camping hammock rather than something intended only for backyard use.
For many children, a successful first night in a hammock can be the beginning of a lifelong interest in camping and outdoor adventures. At this stage, comfort and ease of use matter far more than saving a few grams.
