SuperLight Inflatable Sleeping Mat DD Hammocks
The DD SuperLight Inflatable Mat is a lightweight inflatable sleeping mat that packs down to an exceptionally small size, making it suitable for camping, hiking, and bikepacking. Weighing only 490 g and packing down to approximately 19 × 6 cm, it is about the size of a 500 ml water bottle when packed. The mat takes up very little space in a backpack and is particularly suitable when minimising pack weight and volume is a priority.
Measuring 190 cm long and 60 cm wide, the mat provides a 5 cm thick air cushion when inflated. The built-in pillow helps keep the head slightly elevated, improving sleeping comfort without the need for a separate pillow.
The mat inflates by blowing air directly into the valve and deflates by opening the valve. After use, it packs easily into the included stuff sack with a carry handle. An elastic storage strap is also included.
Its 490 g weight and extremely compact packed size make it an attractive option for hikers, bikepackers, bushcrafters, and anyone who prefers a minimalist gear setup. It also pairs well with DD SuperLight hammocks, tents, and tarp shelters.
Note for hammock users: As with all inflatable sleeping mats, it is recommended to leave the mat partially inflated when used inside a hammock. A slightly softer mat conforms better to the shape of the hammock and stays in place more easily than a fully inflated mat.
