Lesovik Magla hammock mosquito net is a universal mosquito net suitable for banana-shaped hammocks from 270 to 320 cm in length.
The Magla mosquito net attaches directly to the hammock’s attachment cords, without the need for separate cords. The attachment strings are inserted through the holes at the ends of the net before the hammock is attached to the trees. It is also possible to install the net on a hammock that is already suspended: in this case, one end is temporarily detached and then the attachment cord is threaded through the holes in the net.
Note that one end of the net has only a small opening and the other has a larger slit. The net should be installed so that the smaller opening is on the side of the tree, allowing the net to be pulled over the hammock through the split.
The Magla mosquito net is precisely designed using 3D modelling to fit hammocks between 270 and 320 cm long. The redesigned design has no zipper, but instead a rubber band wraps around the bottom edge of the net. This opening forms the entrance to the mosquito net. The slit at one end is closed by overlapping fabrics in a cushion-like manner, so that the end remains a mosquito net.
Magla mosquito nets are self-supporting, i.e. they do not require separate fastening pins, sleeves or spreaders. The net is independently supported by its own anchoring ropes. However, we recommend that you install a ridge pole on the hammock. By using a ridge pin, you can set the tension of the hammock to always be the same, plus the net will get additional support from the ridge pin.
The material of the mosquito net is very high quality and soft, containing more than 700 holes per square centimetre. Thanks to its dense structure, it prevents even the smallest insects from passing through the net. The smooth surface of the material prevents debris from sticking, and if the net touches the ground, debris is easily shaken off.
One of the most recognisable features of the Magla mosquito net is its kayak-shaped design with an entrance at the bottom. Although there are no zippers, the net provides excellent protection from insects and allows for easy exit without additional adjustment.
If necessary, the mosquito net can be moved by sliding it off the hammock. The slotted end has a closure system that must be opened before the net can be slid to the side. This feature is useful if you want to sit in the hammock during the day without the mosquito net.
