Mesh Tent for One Person – Pyraomm Solo Mesh Tent for 1P, Liteway

A mesh tent for one person with a maximum height of 175 cm. The tent itself weighs only 270 g. When you add the weight of the guy lines and the packing bag, the total weight increases by about 30 g. The mesh tent can be set up using a trekking pole, between trees, or attached to a tarp or tarp tent. The mesh tent provides good protection against insects. Additionally, the mesh offers slight insulation, which may raise the internal temperature of the tent by a few degrees.

We recommend this mesh tent if you are up to 175 cm tall. For taller individuals, the mesh tent may not be comfortable to use. If you are over 175 cm tall, we recommend choosing another PyraOmm version, such as Duo or Plus.

Pole Required for Setup

The PyraOmm Solo Mesh Tent can be set up with one pole placed at an angle, with a length of about 135-140 cm.

Setup with Two Poles

In the PyraOmm Solo Mesh model, the trekking pole + A-frame connector should have a total length of about 135-140 cm.

Stake Requirement

At least 4 stakes are needed for setup, one for each corner (stakes are not included). Additional stakes can be attached to the long sides of the mesh tent, near the door. The product includes 6 guy lines.

When you combine the PyraOmm Solo Mesh tent with the Pyraomm Solo Tarp, you create a very lightweight double-walled frameless ultralight tent for one person.

The seams of the shelter are not sealed. For seam sealing, we recommend a silicone-based sealant. We recommend the product GearAid Seam Grip+SIL (formerly known as McNett Silnet Seam Sealer).

Setup Instructions

1. Spread the mesh tent on the ground and stake the corners to form a rectangle.
2. Adjust the trekking pole to a height of about 135-140 cm.
3. Place the trekking pole outside the mesh tent, slightly angled in the middle front. (You can also attach the mesh tent to the peak of the tarp with a plastic carabiner.)
4. Adjust the tension with the linelocks to make the mesh tent stand upright.
5. If using a tarp together with the Solo tarp, attach the corners directly to the tarp, see pictures.

Note: The sharp ends of trekking poles should always be covered with a protective cap. You can also place a soft cloth/item at the sharp end of the pole. Do not push the sharp ends of poles or rods into the top of the shelter. The sharp ends of trekking poles should always be protected to prevent damage to the PyraOmm Solo mesh tent or tarp.
