Ultralight 4-person mesh tent Liteway PyraOmm Max Full Mesh 4P is a lightweight insect shelter for hiking, backpacking and camp use. It can be pitched with a centre pole, suspended from the peak, or combined with the Liteway PyraOmm Max Tarp 4P to create a lightweight double-wall shelter.

PyraOmm Max Full Mesh 4P is designed for four people. It offers approximately 5.76 m² of interior floor area, with a footprint of around 240 × 240 cm and a centre height of approximately 180 cm. The NoSeeUm mesh provides effective insect protection while keeping the overall shelter weight very low.

4-person mesh tent for lightweight camping

PyraOmm Max Full Mesh provides a large, fully enclosed insect-protected sleeping area without the weight of a conventional framed inner tent. It works especially well as the inner tent for a pyramid-style outer shelter, but can also be used independently in suitable dry conditions.

The mesh tent has two separate zipped entrances, making access easier for four occupants. There are also two internal pockets for storing small essentials.

Pitching with one centre pole

The simplest way to pitch PyraOmm Max Full Mesh is with one centre pole approximately 180 cm long. The pole is positioned in the centre of the mesh tent and supported by the reinforced peak pocket.

This setup is simple and stable, although the pole remains in the middle of the interior space.

Pitching with an A-frame

The mesh tent can also be pitched with two trekking poles in an A-frame configuration, leaving the centre of the shelter free from a vertical pole. This requires a separately sold A-frame connector or another compatible extension system.

With PyraOmm Max, the total length of each A-frame side should be approximately 220–225 cm. In practice, this means standard trekking poles usually need an extension or connector to reach the required length.

Stakes required

A minimum of 4 stakes is required for the basic pitch, with one stake at each main corner. Stakes, centre pole and trekking poles are not included.

Additional attachment points can be used to improve stability and optimise the shape of the interior depending on conditions.

Basic pitching instructions

1. Spread the mesh tent on the ground in a rectangular shape.
2. Stake out the four main corners.
3. Place an approximately 180 cm centre pole inside the shelter and position it in the reinforced peak pocket.
4. Adjust the attachment points with the line locks until the mesh tent stands evenly and under suitable tension.

Use with PyraOmm Max Tarp 4P

When PyraOmm Max Full Mesh 4P is combined with the Liteway PyraOmm Max Tarp 4P, the two components form an ultralight double-wall, frameless shelter for up to four people.

The mesh inner provides insect protection and an integrated floor, while the PyraOmm Max Tarp forms the weather-resistant outer layer against rain and wind.

Silpoly 20D Ripstop and NoSeeUm Mesh

The floor and solid fabric sections are made from 1.1 oz Silpoly 20D Ripstop 2000 mm. The insect mesh is lightweight Nylon NoSeeUm Mesh.

The construction also uses WJ hardware and 210D HDPE Gridstop reinforcement material. The peak area is reinforced to handle the load from the centre pole.

Seams are not factory sealed

The seams of PyraOmm Max Full Mesh 4P are not factory sealed. If additional water resistance is required around the floor and solid fabric seams, they should be treated with a suitable silicone-based seam sealer.

Lightweight with generous interior space

PyraOmm Max Full Mesh 4P weighs approximately 665 g. The total weight with guylines and stuff sack is approximately 715 g.

With nearly 5.8 m² of interior space at this weight, it offers an excellent space-to-weight ratio for a four-person ultralight shelter system.
