The Pot Cosy is a brew bag for the Evernew titanium pots. It is made of flexible neoprene, which acts as an insulator while protecting the pot inside. The NP Case reduces the rattle of the pot. A brew bag of the right size is designed for each pot model, so that the bags follow the shape of the pot.
Each NP Case is designed for a specific Evernew pot model, so they precisely match the shape of the pot. Each incubator bag has a zippered lid to finish off the fit. While each model is a snug fit, they do have a little extra room so you can “overpack” your kettle with other camping gear. Without a pot cover, your gear may move or damage other gear.
Neoprene is a lightweight, durable and heat-insulating material. These properties make it a good choice for protecting camping stoves. Depending on the model, neoprene pot covers weigh between 30 and 80 grams.
The colour of the neoprene incubator/pot guard is carefully considered. If you leave the kettle in the incubator bag in the sun, it will heat up on its own over time. Preheating the water saves the fuel needed for cooking.
