Tarp Superlight – ULTRA Tarp 3 x 3 m Bushmen – New Model

A spacious and lightweight tarp (3 × 3 m) designed for shorter hammocks, hiking, trekking, or as extra shelter. Made from 20D ripstop silnylon with Dyneema reinforcements. The tarp weighs 410 g (tarp only) and offers approximately 9 m² of coverage. Its square shape allows versatile setup options for solo or group use. The tarp includes 16 attachment points, three of which are reinforced along the central ridge seam. The package includes guy lines, tensioners, and a compact stuff sack.

Attachment Points and Structure

The tarp has a total of 16 attachment loops, allowing flexible setup options for different terrains and weather conditions. Three of the loops are located on the central ridge seam and are specially reinforced. The central seam is taped, which improves waterproofing and durability.

Guy Lines and Tensioning System

Includes 6 guy lines, each 3 meters long, with sliding tensioners. The tensioners allow quick and easy tightening and also act as a safety mechanism: under excessive load, the tensioner lets the line slip, preventing damage to the tarp. The tensioners lock during normal use but release under strong wind or accidental pulling.

⚠️ Note: If a line detaches from a hook, it can be reattached by lifting the hook flap and threading the line back between the teeth.

Safety and Handling

The ultralight structure does not include heavy reinforcements, so careful handling is important. The tarp is not designed to withstand heavy loads or strong winds. The use of elastic cords in attachments is recommended, as they absorb tension and may extend the tarp’s lifespan.

Stuff Sack

A compact stuff sack is included, with three loops – two on the long side and one on the end. These allow the sack to be easily attached to a backpack or rucksack. Packing a wet tarp tightly can be challenging, so careful folding and rolling is recommended.
