The Apex Insulated Jacket is a new ultralight design from Liteway – a versatile, high-performance jacket made from premium materials.
It works equally well in the city or in the mountains.
Despite its low weight, the jacket offers excellent warmth provided by Climashield® APEX 2.0 oz (≈ 67 g/m²) insulation.
The ergonomic cut, raglan sleeves, well-shaped adjustable hood, drawcord hem, two large front pockets, and inner chest pocket make the jacket practical and comfortable in everyday use.
The extended back hem adds protection against wind and allows free movement – perfect as a mid-layer, a lightweight insulated jacket, or a reliable companion for breaks on the trail.
The carefully shaped and permanently attached hood is designed for all-day comfort.
A soft, elastic binding runs along the edge for a snug and pleasant fit.
There are no traditional front draw-cords; adjustment is made using a rear tension system with a cord and lock located at the back of the neck.
The hood is spacious enough to fit a hat underneath and provides solid wind protection.
The Apex Jacket features high-positioned zippered hand-pockets, which remain easily accessible even when wearing a backpack with a hip belt.
Each pocket has a 17.5 cm zipper and a generous pouch size of 28 × 18 cm.
The zippers match the fabric color, giving the jacket a refined, uniform look.
Inside, on the left side, there is an inner chest pocket with a fixed loop and small plastic buckle – ideal for securing keys or small items.
The hem has a drawcord channel with an elastic cord that can be adjusted from the sides with one hand.
The lower edge is shaped and extended at the back, offering extra coverage and keeping the jacket in place when moving or bending.
The cut of the Apex Jacket is relaxed yet ergonomic, providing comfort across different conditions and layering systems.
The design leaves enough room for a warmer base or mid-layer underneath without restricting movement.
The longer back hem protects the lower back when wearing a backpack, while the overall fit allows free, natural motion.
The raglan sleeve construction improves mobility and comfort, especially when hiking or carrying a backpack.
The seam runs diagonally from the collar to the underarm, eliminating thick shoulder seams that could cause pressure or rubbing.

The comfort temperature for this insulation is around +11 °C, making the jacket ideal for cool summer or autumn days and as an additional layer in colder weather.
Elastic cords and toggles are WJ-branded, ensuring smooth operation and reliability.
